Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16she already secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her critically acclaimed role in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including the role of Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge in the commercially and critically popular Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominated films that feature the divas. Alexandra is associated with numerous important projects both locally and internationally. Some of these include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon. She also served on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
